Everything is closed in Germany on Sundays and holidays, and if you’re used to living in countries where everything is open, it’s hard to get used to. However, the advantage is that instead of perusing shops on an afternoon stroll, I walk around and see different things that I might ordinarily miss.
For our first Easter living in Munich, we decided to head into the city and let our curiosity guide us.
We meandered around for two hours feasting on big and little details, feeling the surge of rebirth in the buds on trees and that promise of spring in the air, watching surfers in a landlocked city, talking with friendly squirrels and taking lots of pictures.
